About Doctor

Dr. Srini Kaveri received his Veterinary Medicine degree in Bangalore, India and Ph.D. at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. He then carried out his Post-doctoral research training with Professor Heinz Kohler at IDEC pharmaceuticals and University of California, San Diego, USA.

He has been leading an INSERM research team at the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers in Paris for ten years ; his laboratory has been involved with the basic and applied aspects of research on immunopathology and immunotherapy.

Dr. Srini Kaveri has already been actively involved in Indo-French research activities. He has established in France a number of collaborations with various research institutes in India, and has trained a large number of Indian students at Master’s, PhD and post-doctoral levels. He is the Co-Director of an “International Associated Laboratory” (ICMR-INSERM) in Mumbai, India.

Also, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology IBAB, Bangalore and an Honorary Professor at Amity University, Noida.
